It is the goal of the Seraphina Ensemble to promote equality through the arts by engaging with disenfranchised groups in classical music. Our organization seeks to reach this goal by performing and premiering works by women and minority composers. Through our dedication to performance and education, we honor the classical tradition as well as show that classical music does not belong just in the upper strata of society, among the wealthy who fund large orchestras and extravagant projects. Music, more than any other form of art, has the power to bring people together.
